A strange but oddly irresistible cake
I can’t quite decide whether I like the apple cake or not. The taste is great, but the texture is a bit odd. Slightly chewy. I have been nibbling at it on and off all morning to try to work out what I think of it. So didn’t really need much lunch. Waiting for feedback from the lovely Jenny who child cared Missy B last night for me. Anyway, here’s the recipe, in case you want to give it a whirl:

I love it when I make something different for Missy B and she asks for it again. It’s totally unpredictable, but this time it was a turkey Waldorf salad, courtesy of the Waitrose magazine. Although it was actually chicken, as that’s what was in the freezer.
